Death; the ultimate destination

By: Sreeanka Audhya

A foetus to a living creature on Earth
Just 'the body' as you breathe your last.
Sudden or slowly approaching towards
Be in any form, leaves behind only tears.

Not even a thread you carry along
Leaving behind memories too,
The life's journey travelled so far
And the people bonded with you.

The End or there is life after death?
None knows just myths depending upon our faiths.

Life's only truth and the ultimate destination
Not known where, said to be in Heaven.
Heaven or Hell, said is upon your deeds
Your journey on Earth; sacrifice or in greed.
