That Girl

By: Umra Atir Khan

From the day she was born,

Her family had sworn,

She won't study,

To educate here would be fool hardly,

She'll be married at ten,

We won't let her touch a pen.

As time flew,

As she grow,

Her nerve was pure,

She could do wonders she was sure,

She stood against her family,

She got her education and,

Now she says Happily,

"I am a successful girl,

I let my colours unfurl."
