A Child’s Imagination
Little boy Arn
Went to the barn
And saw a lot of hay
He went to the barn today
Yesterday he went to the sea
And set a few fishes free
From a net
A pirate he met
On his adventure
He would enter
The secret door
That leads to the world above
In the sky
He kept an eye
On the pirate
Arn wanted to find it
But it seemed
Like it had been dreamed
He didn’t give up
He found the magical, golden cup
Which took you to fantasy creatures
With unusual features
Like centaurs and elves
Who live in heavens and hells
Both lands have a library
The door handle made of a cherry
There are hills made of candy
Arn makes a friend named Sandy
The library set on fire
Higher than a wire
When the fire was finally out
People were up and about
Some going to the market
Buy the balloon! Buy it!
Someone yells
Some going to stay in hotels
With rooms as beautiful as sunset
Two men were pouring with sweat
While setting the table
For the royal couple
Now it is time to head back
With a sack
Full of gold
So lovely and cold
Let’s say goodbye
With a lifetime’s supply
Of friends and memories
Now he hurries
And goes forever
