Every story starts with a choice. For Evelyne, it wasn’t about what dress to wear or going to a fancy ball. It was about whether to keep hiding in the dusty corners of her life or to finally open her eyes to the tricky, shining world around her. 

We’ve all felt invisible at some point—like no one really sees us, even though we’re strong inside. This story is about that feeling and the quiet courage it takes to keep going. Sometimes, big changes don’t come with loud noises, but with a soft whisper, a warm feeling, or a simple wish. 

The Silence and the Storm is about a kingdom full of secrets and a girl who gets magic to see through the lies. But magic doesn’t fix everything. It makes the problems clearer. Evelyne’s journey is about the cost of truth, the burdens we all share, and the courage it takes to step out of the shadows and into the light. 

This book is the first part of a bigger story—the series called The Sacrifice for Truth. It’s where the music stops, the silence breaks, and a hidden world of power and danger comes crashing in.
