What if in the name of being strong

I'm doing things all wrong?

Leaving all my people

And places where I belong

 

What if in the name of being right

I'm putting forward a wrong fight?

Why should I be shaken by darkness

When I could be guided by light

 

What if in the name of love

I cage a beautiful dove?

Why cage and be caged

When there are skies to rise above

 

And there will always be a fight

Between the Ifs and Buts in life

But truth will win you love

So lies will never hide
