Parents silent gift
A Parent’s Silent Gift
They trade their dreams for ours to grow,
Hide their pain so we won’t know.
Through sleepless nights and endless days,
They guide us gently, in quiet ways.
Their hands may tire, their backs may bend,
Yet every burden they call a friend.
The meals they skip, the clothes they mend,
All for the love they’ll never end.
We chase the stars, we climb the skies,
Not seeing tears behind their eyes.
For every joy we call our own,
Was built on love they’ve always shown.
So while we walk on brighter lands,
Remember hearts, remember hands.
A parent’s life, both strong and true,
Is sacrifice—just for you.
