It’s a Beautiful Life

Oh, have I ever admired

The majesty of this vast universe

And realized that I’m puny,

Yet a unique creature?

Why didn’t I see myself in the mirror

When I laughed so hard?

Why didn’t I just look up to the sky

And make wishes to shooting stars?

Why didn’t I just scroll my gallery

To reminisce my cherished moments?

Why didn’t I listen to the birds chirping?

Why did I feel shy

When I sang in the shower?

Why didn’t I realize that I’ve a happy home,

A family and a pet that welcome my presence?

I was silly to complain and cry,

Of all the odds that imprisoned my mind.

But this no man lying on the platform

Proved me without words that

It’s a beautiful life, I’m living!
