The Lockdown Days

This sounds extreme,

Because we’re trying to create distance between,

Though we are in lockdown.

But don’t let your hearts break down.

Before Covid, people used to roam,

But now we are at home.

And if you want to live in this land,

Don’t forget to wash your hands.

Our fears and tears may hide our goals,

But don’t let it live in your soul.

We wished to have a leave for school,

Now we’re always on a leave, so be cool.

And finally, don’t forget to obey the rules,

Stay home and be safe.
