There’s No One Like You
THERE’S NO ONE LIKE YOU
Wondrous are Your hands that forged me,
Salvaged to the strand to set me free.
Couldn’t reckon your astounding deed,
As I’ll be parched if I start to read.
You pat my shoulder and wake me up everyday;
Accord me with your strength to start my day.
You clasp my hands more in my vicissitude;
I’m obliged for choosing me as your own in the multitude.
Sweet Jesus, Why do you love this transgressor?
Your clemency transformed me into a confessor.
Your fingers molded this broken vessel,
And retained it as your child from evil.
O Lord! Who could be like you?
In whom would I put my trust if not you?
I stand impoverished and indebted before you.
This mere mortal has none other than to give itself to you!
