A Little More Than Enough

I do not ask love

to become a palace

let it be a lamp

that knows my evenings by name.

If the world grows loud,

sit beside me quietly;

your silence has always

spoken in my favor.

I want a love

that does not argue with fate,

that smiles at scarcity

and still shares its last song.

Walk with me

at the speed of trust—

even dust feels like a destination

when footsteps agree.

Do not promise forever;

promise presence.

Time understands exaggeration,

but the heart prefers truth.

If someday I am broken,

do not fix me—

just stay.

Even ruins bloom

when someone believes in them.

Love, for me,

is not everything—

it is simply

a little more than enough.
