“Crushed on First Sight”

It was just a sunny evening on my bike,

Wondering could today be the day

I run into someone worthwhile.

My heart froze when I saw him first sight,

Only eyes swayed all the way to my body type.

It was like time froze and I was drowning

With double hearts in my eyes.

I knew I had to get a grip

Before I lost the senses and wise.

It’s like I saw beyond and the aura felt god-like.

My astounding face under my mask

Was enough for him to give a devilish grin.

If I could think of anything, it would be a sin—

For someone to be that amazing is just a god-win.

I would have stopped but I was no longer in control.

I thought I would fall but only oh so—

It was the heart and mind that got in trouble.

Thinking I could let it go, that picture—I still struggle.

Wondering if to move on I still might,

Maybe it was really “love at first sight.”
