NEVER GIVE UP

Set out once on a journey long,

Conquering the world, head held high;

Vigour filled, will mighty strong,

On crossroads held, telling with a sigh!

Directionless direction, thoughtless thoughts,

Life’s to be lived, though at times;

Mind’s refusal, denial, entangled knots,

Canvas blank sans creation sublime!

Success nor failure, heights nor depths,

All seems lost, all reason fails;

Befogging vision, stalking striking as the whooping sneaths,

The hurdles, the impediments the path when hails!

For all odds, all obstacles, yet give a final fight,

Never give up for there blooms a flower ever so bright!
