In white coats, we stand tall and bright,

Nurses, the beacons of hope, in the dark of night.

People think it’s easy, just a job to do,

But we know the truth, the struggles we go through.

We sacrifice moments with loved ones dear,

Festivals and celebrations, we often hold near.

Diwali’s lights, Holi’s colors bright,

We miss them, but our patients’ smiles shine with new light.

In the ICU, in the wards, we run,

Racing against time, for life to be won.

We hold hands, we wipe tears, we soothe the soul,

Our patients’ trust, our hearts’ goal.

Some days we feel exhausted, drained and worn,

But our patients’ gratitude gives us strength to be reborn.

We face challenges, verbal abuse, and strife,

But we listen, sympathize, and give a healing life.

When the day is done, and we’re alone,

We reflect on what we’ve done, and our hearts are made of stone.

We’ve given our all, our love, our care,

And in that moment, we know we’ve done something rare.

I’m proud to be a nurse, a guardian of life,

A fighter, a healer, a symbol of hope and strife.

This chapter’s not closed, it’s just begun,

We’ll keep fighting, caring, until the day is won.

With every patient, a story unfolds,

Of hope, of courage, of lives that are told.

We nurses are the threads that weave,

A tapestry of care, a bond that we conceive.

Our work may go unseen, but its impact is grand,

A ripple effect of kindness, spreading across the land.

So here’s to the nurses, the unsung heroes true,

Who work behind the scenes, with hearts that shine through.

In the silence of the night, we stand tall,

Watching over our patients, through it all.

Our hearts beat with compassion, our souls on fire,

For the love of healing, our hearts’ greatest desire.

With every life we touch, we make a difference true,

A difference that ripples, forever shining through.

So let us celebrate, the nurses’ noble art,

A profession of love, a gift to the heart.
