Beneath the Armor: The Anchor of a Lifetime

I have always written poetry to express myself privately but this work is rooted in a thirty-three-year journey of love, resilience, and connection. Though military duties, other relationships, and separate marriages kept us apart for decades, he was my first love, and we always found a way back to each other. My writing explores the profound stability of a bond that never truly severed, capturing the transition of that initial spark into a lasting anchor.

Central to our story is the depth of our Dominant/submissive dynamic. His calm nature and steady lead provide the safe structure I need to finally still my heart.
