Ch. 7: -Pride Comes Before The Fall
A surprising revelation.
“What?” I squirmed.
“I survived, learnt the dark arts of astral projection and black magic, that’s how I left no traces of my kills.” He revealed it all.
“You are sick.” I was disgusted and angry.
“No, I am their reckoning.” He was being a maniac as usual.
We both clashed once again, we are locked in, fist to fist.
The battle grows intense.
I threw a punch at Vikas.
I was standing a top Vikas about to stomp him, Vikas is holding my foot in a guard stance.
Vikash gives me a reversal and twists my ankle.
SFX: -AHHHHHH (I was screaming.)
The asshole was trying to attack me with a metal pipe. But I rolled to save myself.
I grabbed the pipe and gave it a twist.
And then I get the upper hand.
“Vikas, it’s over.” I made the final call.
“No!” but he was resisting.
Vikas was getting furious, and charges at me.
SFX: -Rarrrrgggghhhh (Vikas roaring)
But I then impaled the metal pipe inside Vikas’ gut.
Aryan: -JAI BAJRANG BALI!
SFX: -AKHHHHHH……. (Vikas chocking)
“I am inevitable.” He was still unfazed.
Vikas was not going to accept defeat, and so he decides to throw himself into the hell’s gate/portal. And then he gets disemboweled by hell demons with them feasting on his guts and intestines.
The portal closes with Vikas’ left hand slowly slipping in.
“It’s over, good riddance. Oh no! Rudra?” I was still in denial that he was dead.
“Is it over?” Amaira asked me.
“Hopefully yes, let’s go, I’ll drop you somewhere safe?” I dropped her at her apartment then and left for the home-stay.
Inspector Vijay and Officer Anuj showed up later and congratulated me for my help.
A week passed by, and I was at the airport on my way to Guwahati again.
“All good with you?” My mom asked.
“I will be fine. I hope so.” Though I wasn’t sure.
Elsewhere, in the pits of hell.
SFX: -WHIMPERS, PANTS.
“My body’s wearing out but I am not dead yet and I shall be back to take back what’s mine.” Vikas lives in the pits of hell.
“You need help? Then consider my deal.” Satan.
“Fine, I’ll do whatever is necessary.” And then he made the deal with the devil.
Meanwhile, I was still saving people around Guwahati and then I got a call from the local Paranormal and demonology wing to solve another case.
“Yeah, I’ll see to it.” And then I hung up the call.
