A friend in need is a friend indeed

Once upon a time, there lived a little girl, Mia, who had no friends. Her parents were thr most richest people in that town and never allowed their daughter to go out. The only place their daughter went was the school and back home. They gave her everything but what she longed for were friends.

One day, when she was playing in the basketball court, a few boys approached her and started teasing her. A girl who was seeing this, rushed to Mia and pushed those boys away. The boys left. Mia looked at that girl and said, “Wow! You were so brave! ” The girl replied, “That was not called bravery, I just helped you out.” “Thanks! “, said Mia, ” By the way, what’s your name? ” My name is Sofia.” “Nice meeting you Sofia, well my name is… ” “Oh, I know your name, well, who doesnt.” That day, both of them spent the whole time in school together. Mia felt the happiest, she finally knew how it feels to have a friend and such a good one too!

That evening, she came home happy and told her mom, “Mom, can I call my new friend home on the coming weekend?” Her mom replied, “Why my child? We are going camping this weekend….Someother weekend please?” Mia softened her voice and asked her mother, “Mom, can we bring my friend to the camp too?” Her mother replied, “Uh, why don’t you ask your friend tomorrow about her house and then we’ll talk, okay?” Mia agreed. The next day, she asked Sofia whether she could show Mia her house. Sofia hesitantly agreed…
