Voices of Freedom: Stories That Move Us Forward

Freedom isn’t always about borders or flags, it can also be freedom from fear, doubt, and the inner voice that tells us we can’t.

Let me tell you that the best tip I’ve ever received is a lesson in liberation: be fearless with your words because whether we are writing about our nation, our people, or our own hearts, it’s only when we let go of fear that our truest voice can rise—like the tricolor against the morning sky.

Life is surely a limited journey, and we humans, I feel, are the travel writers. Yes! The budding writers! Why I am saying the budding writers is because every day is a new beginning, and we write a new chapter, a niche, or just a new piece of content. We never become full-fledged writers in our lives; we are always budding writers. This is so because yesterday was a new day, and we had no clue about it, but today it is a different story, and who knows what comes tomorrow?

Well! You would say that, why am I writing all these philosophical things when the topic is to write about the freedom, right? Surely, I would not take much of your time anymore. I did so because to me life seems like a journey where every day we write new chapters, new beginnings, new rules, and much more new, but the constant thing that remains there with most of the people is fear, holding you back.

Yes, it is the fear, or I would say a negative state of your mind, that is holding you back from writing one of the best chapters of your life journey. Of course, this is the best writing tip of my life journey that I have ever received, which is to be fearless while writing. For sure, writing about life’s journey. It goes on for writing that we do in organizations as a full-time or a part-time employee, but right now I am into a much deeper thought that I am sharing with you.

Well! As now I’ve spilled the beans on the best tip that I’ve ever received, it becomes my responsibility to also let you know who gave me this advice. He is the person who held my hand at every point in my life, the one who supported me through thick and thin—MY FATHER (PAPA)! Be fearless– is what he told me since childhood. It would take plenty of pages, finally turning into a book, if I had to tell everything that he told me. So, I’m stopping here only.

What I have been told, I am following that only and sharing because it is worth sharing. Being a creative writer, I’ve used this tip, and while being fearless, I feel that my creative juices get flowing at a different level, and surely the work is appreciated by the people. You know, there is a song in India, and I really like one of its lines. I’ll be translating that in English for you:

Friends, this age (especially youth) doesn’t care for the results,

Then why be fearful?

But see, here is a correction. It should not only be about the youth. In every phase of life, or, to be precise, in every second of life, this tip must be followed. Why should one have fear while writing the book of his or her own life?

Life is too small to take tension, stress, and all those depressing thoughts. It is your life, so why not fly like a free bird who is not afraid to take its flight, be it its first or the last one? That’s all from my side!

I would surely say that it is your book of life, and being the writer, you have the power to make it the best. So, why wait? I know that tomorrow, you will write new beginnings and new hopes in your life book. So, wait no more.

Hold the pen right away and start writing!

This Independence Day, I hold my pen the way my father taught me, without fear because freedom is not just a gift given to countries; it is a choice we make within ourselves, every day, to speak, to create, to stand tall.

This is my voice of freedom.

What’s yours?
