Chapter 4: Making Friends and Enemies

As Ara traveled further and further from home, she encountered a wide variety of people, both friendly and hostile. She made friends with other sailors, who shared stories and advice, and she even fell in love with a handsome captain named Ravi.

But she also encountered pirates and other unsavory characters, who tried to steal her supplies or attack her boat. Ara quickly learned to be cautious and to keep her guard up, even when she was surrounded by seemingly friendly faces.
