GOD’S GIFT

            
Covid, climate change and cyclones
Man has crossed all limits
So much of strife and stress
The Earth is in a mess 
               The trees are no longer green
The rivers are no more blue
Birds are rarely to be seen
Flowers are losing their hues 
    Is this  fair?
              Nature is God's gift  to man
Let us pray for the Earth to be healed
Never again to be quarantined and sealed
Let normalcy return fast
And distancing become a thing of the past
    Let us pledge never to meddle with nature
Or nature will take revenge with a vengeance
