A Tranquil Nightfall
A Tranquil Nightfall
As the day draws to its gentle close,
A spectacle of beauty in repose,
The sun descends, a glowing crown,
Casting hues of gold and amber down.
Upon the canvas of the sky so wide,
Brushstrokes of crimson, a radiant tide,
A tapestry is woven with colors ablaze,
In the twilight’s embrace, the world amazes.
The fiery orb dips below the horizon’s edge,
Its fading light a whispered pledge,
To return with the dawn, another day’s birth,
Yet now it surrenders to night’s embrace, its worth.
The clouds transform, a painted scene,
From wisps of cotton to strokes serene,
They dance with the fading light’s last gleam,
As if bidding farewell to a cherished dream.
Silhouettes emerge, embracing the dusk,
Nature’s chorus sings, a gentle hush,
The symphony of crickets begins to play,
A serenade to the sun’s final ray.
Oh, sunset, enchantress of the eve,
You hold our hearts, make spirits believe,
In the magic of endings and beginnings anew,
In the promise that each day can start anew.
So let us pause and admire your grand display,
As you paint the world in hues of decay,
For within your beauty, we find solace deep,
A reminder of life’s cycles, forever to keep.
