Chapter 5

THE DARK FOREST

Now we had entered the forest, it was very dark, teacher say to Barry now you can on the torch. I turned on the torch and slowly turned it to the window but it was still dark even after putting the lights on, I saw a bit but it was so deep that it is not at all clear. The teacher said, “Students who have a torched can light up”. Then after some time, we all heard a creepy noise and some were scared by that. In the middle of the way, all the 3 buses stopped, and coming smoke from the engines at the same time some of the students thought that it was a coincidence and some asked why all buses had stopped at the same time, even me. All of us came off the bus immediately. Then the bus drivers said the same thing to everyone “Sorry”, but all of us have to go for a walk in this forest, we know that it’s so dangerous to travel by walk in the forest but this is the only way to get off here! you have to walk 7 kilometers from here to pass this forest. The teacher said OK’ but we can call a mechanical shop to help us”. Driver, yes but there are no signals available here. Then the teacher “All the students and those who have torches can on them but “we have to pass this terrible forest as soon as possible”, we started walking on the road because going through the forest can be dangerous. When we walked about 500 meters then we found three ways to pass from there, but there was a problem, our theory was that we have to follow the tar and the coal road but here the problem is that all three roads are muddy and covered a bit by grass as we were confused so much after a thought about 3½ minutes then we decided to go on the 3rd route. After walking a while, “I turned back and saw that I was able to see 4 routs in back of us”, so I called the teacher, “Sir look back and see one sec, then he looked back and ordered, “stop everyone” what is going on, can you see what I am seeing there. “Yes sir’, we can see 4 routes over there, but how it is possible? Then we realized that we had lost our path and there were trees, large bushes, and creepers surrounding everywhere.

The teacher said don’t worry students we have to find the path by ourselves and don’t be afraid, so “Be so confident”. Now it was 8 pm. We decided to have a break and have dinner, then we opened our tent, arranged it, then slept for a while.
