Sunshine
My life before you was dark,
Your smile brought back that missing spark,
I smiled, laughed even was happy, like a careless dog in a vacant park,
If my life would be a book,
I’d highlight every line related to you,
I’d forever keep them mark,
Now that it’s not much left between us,
I’ve accepted that we might never talk,
If you could just cross my path,
on a random sunday park walk,
I won’t speak a word when I’ll see you,
it would be my eyes that would talk,
They’ll smile seeing you,
by heart would be as happy as a dog seeing his treats,
it would jump it would bark,
I can never forget you,
never replace you because I was in a pitch black room and you brought the warmth with your spark.
