Voices of Freedom
We are free,as we cherish freedom,
But freedom isn’t free.
Many have paid for it
and many still do.
They are ours —
Our fathers,
our brothers,
our friends.
They fall,shot on their chest,
Resting forever in the west.
Lost in the night’s dark swirl,
They die and their legacy a pearl.
They fight till death,
and in their final breath,
their bodies burn
their souls whisper–“Bharat Mata ki Jay”
In cemeteries,their
silent voices scream,
Echoes of freedom’s costly theme.
These are the voices of freedom,
A price paid dearly
By them, their families and us all.
Happy Independence Day to all🇮🇳
