“India Through My Eyes”
I love my India. I am proud of my country, India. Whenever I think about India, I feel a deep sense of respect and joy in my heart. We Indians lovingly call our country ‘Bharat Mata -Mother India.’ I am truly thankful that such a beautiful land is my motherland. For me, India is not just a place on the map — it is my home, my motherland, my heart, and my soul.
My India never bowed down before the Britishers or the Mughals. Our ancestors were brave and strong; they fought hard to protect our land and our freedom. India has always been a land of courage and resilience. We Indians have always honoured our women as goddesses — they are our strength and pride. We call India “Mother India” because this land cares for us, nourishes us, and teaches us to be proud of who we are.
I am very thankful that a beautiful country like India is my motherland. When I look around, I see that India is growing every day. Some people say that the USA, China, or Russia are the most developed countries today. But I believe India was a developed country long ago — in history, in culture, and in knowledge. India had the best teaching system, the smartest scholars, and the strongest warriors. Our land is full of creativity, peace, and patriotism.
India is the land of poets, kings, queens, and warriors. It is also the land of mothers who told their sons to fight bravely and be ready to sacrifice their lives for the country. Fathers in India work hard every day so their children can have a better future. Teachers in India always try their best to teach their students, so they can grow up to be good citizens who love and serve their country.
India is a land of unity, dignity, equality, and nonviolence — but only when the enemy respects peace. If anyone tries to harm India, we will stand strong and defend our motherland with all our power. India is also the motherland of great sages like Tukaram and Ramdas, who taught us the values of spirituality and righteousness.
Today, India shines in many fields — from science and technology to art and sports. We have space missions like Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan that explore the stars, making the whole world proud. Young athletes like P.V. Sindhu and Neeraj Chopra bring glory to India by winning medals and inspiring millions. Our festivals like Diwali, Eid, Christmas, and Pongal fill the country with joy, showing the strength of our diversity.
I remember visiting my village during Ganesh Chaturthi, when the whole community comes together to celebrate with songs, dances, and prayers. It made me realise how India’s culture connects us all, no matter where we come from. This feeling of togetherness is what makes India special.
Most of all, India teaches us the lesson of respect — respect for all religions, languages, and people. It is in this respect that makes India unique. No matter where I go or what I see, my heart belongs to India, the land that gave me roots and wings to fly.
In my eyes, India is not just a country; it is a feeling — a feeling of belonging, pride, and hope. India is my India, and I will always love it with all my heart.
And like the river flows through the land,
Like the sun shines bright across the sand,
India flows through my heart and soul,
Making me whole, making me bold.
“Jai Hind! Vande Mataram! Jai Bharat Mata!”
