A pair of eyes
And then, everything seemed to stop.
Eyes that never looked at anything twice paused for a moment—just to look back at a pair of eyes.
For a moment, I was starstruck. But soon, a thought crept into my mind:
How is it possible to see the world in someone’s eyes?
The rays hitting his eyes were just so perfect,
It felt like they were made solely to stop a stranger like me—
Just to admire a pair of eyes.
Brown eyes, quiet and deep.
But when the sun touched them,
I remembered—he was born in autumn mid.
His eyes didn’t just hold light; they gave it back,
Showing me a version of myself I’d never met.
Well, I really don’t know how to describe his eyes, but…
Forget the stars and moons—
I saw a billion universes in his eyes.
