Whispers of Summer
The sun spills gold on morning dew,
Soft skies brushed in a sapphire hue,
A hush of warmth in every tree,
The world awake, yet wild and free.
A breeze slips by on silent feet,
With secrets only flowers greet,
It hums through fields and painted skies,
Where dragonflies and daydreams rise.
Barefoot laughs on dusty lanes,
Raindrop scents on windowpanes,
Melting hours drift like song,
As days stretch wide and nights grow long.
The mango’s blush, the koel’s tune,
Stars arriving late in June—
Each whisper tells of moments sweet,
Where time and sunshine gently meet.
So linger here, let troubles stray,
In summer’s arms, just drift away,
For in its breeze and glowing light,
The world feels softer, pure, and right.
