Chapter 12 – My Author Journey
Every writer begins with a thought.
Some stop there.
Others allow that thought
to become a voice,
a purpose,
and finally, a legacy.
This is how my journey began.
My balcony recliner has become my quiet companion.
It is there that many of my reflections are born.
It is there that memories return.
It is there that ideas take shape.
This chapter traces my journey as a writer—
from hesitation to confidence, from impulse to structure, from thought to published work.
It is not merely about books.
It is about growth.
When I began writing, I often questioned myself.
Was it worth sharing my thoughts?
Would anyone relate to them?
Was I ready?
Gradually, I understood that writing serves many purposes.
Some write to heal.
Some to reflect.
Some to communicate.
Some to inspire.
But all writers share one thing:
They love the process— even when it is difficult.
For me, writing was always a joy.
I loved placing thoughts on paper and sharing them with others. The dream of publishing a book stayed quietly in my heart for years. Yes, like many authors, I also hoped for success. But more than financial reward, I desired reach.
I wanted my words to travel.
I wanted them to touch lives beyond borders.
Writers come in many forms.
Some are analytical.
Some are imaginative.
Some are emotional.
Some are technical.
I would describe myself as an impulsive writer.
I wrote from lived experience— social observations, personal struggle, emotional journeys, and reflections on life.
As someone once wrote:
“We are writers, my love. We don’t cry.
We bleed on paper.”
That line reflects my early writing.
I poured everything onto the page.
Soon, I realized that passion alone was not enough.
Structure was essential.
My mind moved faster than my pen.
Ideas overlapped.
Thoughts collided.
Managing content became my biggest challenge.
That was when I discovered the importance of organizing ideas, themes, and genres. I learned that creativity needs systems—not to limit it, but to sustain it.
Over four decades, I had developed a habit of deep learning.
Whenever a subject interested me, I explored it thoroughly. Whether it was social behavior, business processes, quality systems, or human psychology, I immersed myself fully.
This habit strengthened both my professional and writing life.
Gradually, I learned to channel this learning into my books.
My early works focused on:
· Life experiences
· Consciousness
· Self-awareness
· Healing
· Emotional growth
· Spiritual reflection
Later, I began developing more technical and analytical content—connecting business processes, quality systems, and life philosophy.
Balancing these domains required discipline.
It was tiring.
It was demanding.
But it was fulfilling.
Each book refined my voice.
Each manuscript strengthened my clarity.
Each revision improved my purpose.
Along the way, guidance from friends, mentors, fellow authors, and readers helped me grow. Feedback shaped my writing. Experience shaped my confidence.
My journey also revealed deeper concerns.
I observed a gradual erosion of ethical, cultural, and social values. Indifference was increasing. Sensitivity was decreasing. Meaning was being replaced by noise.
This disturbed me deeply.
It inspired future projects focused on:
· Reawakening conscience
· Restoring values
· Strengthening families
· Preserving ethics
· Encouraging responsibility
Some of these ideas required time to mature.
I protected them carefully, allowing real-life evidence and experience to strengthen them before putting them on paper.
One such concept is what I call the “Fourth Dimension”—a deeper layer of human awareness. I leave that discovery for future readers.
Today, my mind remains active.
Ideas flow continuously.
Emotions accumulate.
Experiences demand expression.
Sometimes it feels like a volcano— quiet on the outside, intense within.
Writing releases that energy.
It restores balance.
Even when the body tires, the heart continues.
Even when fingers ache, the pen moves.
Because purpose does not retire.
My author journey has never been about numbers.
It has been about meaning.
About learning.
About sharing.
About growing.
Each book is a chapter of my life.
Each page is a reflection of experience.
Each word is a step forward.
This journey continues.
Not because I must write.
But because I cannot stop being true to what I am.
And that, perhaps, is the greatest reward of all.
