TEMPTED IN EVERY WAY

We were in our aunt’s house. It was one of our family function. So, we were getting ready with our make-up and accessories. In the mean time, my aunt said- “You’re lucky enough to get an elder sister like her”. Yes INDEED! I don’t even need to ask her why she told this. Whatever she noticed, she noticed right. My sister proves thrice in a minute that how perfect she is. As a daughter, as a partner, as a human being, moreover, AS A SISTER.

I never cried in front of people, But She? She saw OCEANS.

I was overlooked by the crowd, But She? She chose me EVERYTIME.

I didn’t tell anyone about my anxiety, But She? She held my hand through every silent PANIC.

I kept showing up for everyone, But She? She was the only one who showed up for ME.

They walked away like I meant nothing, But She, She reminded me I was everything to HER.

They said I was glowing, But She? She saw the battles behind MY BEAUTY.

I laughed in every photo, But She? She knew I was BREAKING.

They laughed at my silly dreams, But She? She AUTHORIZED THEM.

I said I was fine when they left, But She? She knew I wasn’t. SHE STAYED.

They called me weak, But She? She claimed me as a WARRIOR.

They said I was replaceable, But She? She said I was CHOSEN.

I kept the peace even when it cost myself, But She? She was my DEFENDER.

They talked and laughed behind my back, But She? She saw me PRAYING and CRYING.

They only clapped when I succeeded, But She? She loved me through my FAILURES.

I didn’t know how to say out loud, But She? She understood every TEAR.

They only loved me when I was useful, But She? She loved me when I had nothing left to GIVE.

I lost the ones I thought would stay forever, But She? She NEVER LEFT.

YES! SHE IS THE MOST PERFECT BEING EVER EXISTING.
