Author Prakash Roy

Author Prakash Roy did not spend much time writing in the beginning. Instead, he spent his time reading books. He read various types of books, especially those about freedom fighters. At one point, however, getting physical books became difficult. It was the year 2019, when the COVID-19 pandemic spread across the world. During that time, it was almost impossible to buy books. With nothing to read, he began writing. He started writing about the lives of freedom fighters on social media. Gradually, this is how he stepped into the world of writing.

Author Prakash Roy was born on 14th March 1996 in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, India. In 2001, he began his primary education at Panbari Barmanpara R.R. School. In 2006, he enrolled at Panbari Bhabani High School for higher studies. Due to family circumstances, his schooling ended in the tenth grade.

Since beginning to write on social media in 2019, he has captured the hearts of readers from the very start. At the request of his readers, he wrote his first book, “Khoma Nei Deshdrohi” (No Forgiveness for the Traitor), followed by his second book, “Jalalabad Theke Kalarpole” (From Jalalabad to Kalarpole), both published in Bengali. The books “No Forgiveness” and “Chittagong Armoury Raid” were released in English. In addition to these, he has written books in various languages and across different genres.
