The Valentine Romance

Valentine Romance

In February’s hush, when daylight learns to linger,
Hearts practice courage, soft as falling snow.
A glance becomes a promise—warm, a whisper—
Two shadows braid where candle flames glow low.

Time loosens knots it once held tight and guarded,
Minutes turn rose-gold in your open hands.
We trade our fears for laughter, gently bartered,
And write our names where hope still understands.

Your voice—my harbor—calms the restless weather,
Each word a tide that lifts my hidden shores.
We walk the night, stitched close by chance and tether,
Love humming truths we never dared before.

The city listens as our footsteps rhyme,
Streetlights bow down, conspiring in our stay.
A kiss becomes a vow that bends through time,
An echo saved for every lonely day.

If storms arrive, we’ll meet them hand in hand,
Build fires from patience, maps from every scar.
For love is not a wish, but what we plan—
A choosing, daily, who we truly are.

So let this Valentine be more than art:
Not just red roses fading into air,
But steady grace that keeps the daring heart—
A home we make, and promise we can share.
