In the table above the child became better at painting than father and better at singing than the mother.

Because the parents had artistic and singing abilities the child got it. Now the mutation happens naturally or naturally there will not be any mutation and the child would not be as good as the parents. Or even would not get any of the qualities. Like the child didn’t get extroverted and became introverted. And didn’t get mathematics and playing soccer abilities from the parents.
