The Magical Room and the Boy Named Uday

Once upon a time, in a town full of noisy traffic and busy people, lived a quiet and curious boy named Uday. He was 9 years old, loved reading books, solving puzzles, and dreaming of places far beyond the sky. But Uday often felt lonely, as he had no siblings, and his parents were always working.

One rainy afternoon, while exploring the storage room in his house, Uday discovered something strange—a tiny door behind an old curtain. It was no bigger than a cupboard door and had sparkling patterns all around it. On the top, written in golden letters, was:

“For Uday Only.”

His heart beat faster. He touched the door—and whoosh!—it opened on its own.

Uday stepped inside… and gasped.

The room wasn’t an ordinary room. It was magical.

The walls were made of stars. The floor was a soft, glowing cloud. Floating lanterns lit up whenever he thought of something happy. A gentle breeze carried music in the air. There were shelves of storybooks that whispered their tales aloud and paintings that came to life. A giant white tiger, made of mist, bowed to him and said,

“Welcome, Uday. This is your magical room, created by your dreams.”

From that day on, whenever Uday felt sad or bored, he would visit the magical room. In there, he could talk to dragons, swim with mermaids, ride a rainbow horse, or build castles in the sky. The room changed every time, becoming whatever Uday needed most—an adventure, a friend, or even a big warm hug made of stars.

But the room had one rule:

“Always use the magic for good.”

One day, Uday saw a new door inside the room. It led to the dreams of other children—kids who were scared, lonely, or had forgotten how to imagine. Uday realized his room could help them too.

So, with a brave heart, Uday shared the magic.

He invited other children to dream again, to believe in wonder and kindness. Soon, the magical room wasn’t just Uday’s secret—it became a special place for all who needed a little light in their hearts.

And Uday?

He became known as the boy who opened the door to magic.
