The Man with the Red Bicycle
In a small town by the river, there lived a man named Ravi. He was not rich, not very tall, and never wore fancy clothes. But everyone knew him by one thing—his bright red bicycle.
Every morning, Ravi would ride his bicycle through the streets, ringing his little bell and waving to everyone he passed. But he didn’t just ride for fun. Ravi delivered letters and parcels to every home in the town. He was the postman.
But Ravi was more than just a postman. When someone was sick, he brought them medicines. When an old woman couldn’t read a letter from her son, Ravi read it aloud with a smile. If it rained, he still rode—his red bicycle slicing through puddles like a hero on a mission.
One day, a terrible storm hit the town. The river overflowed, and people had to stay indoors. Roads were muddy and blocked, and no one expected any help to come.
But then came the sound—ding-ding!—the bell of Ravi’s bicycle.
He had wrapped letters in plastic, covered himself in a raincoat, and was delivering food and news to people stuck inside. He even carried a little puppy to safety when he saw it shivering in the water.
After the storm passed, the town came together and thanked him. A little girl said, “Ravi uncle, you don’t just deliver letters—you deliver kindness.”
From that day on, everyone called him “The Man with the Red Bicycle and a Golden Heart.”
