I wish to pay a tribute in gratitude to ZORBA BOOKS about my experience with them right from my first mail to them, expressing my desire to have my book published, all the way up to the magic-moment when I actually held in my hands my life-time dream in flesh and blood……….
But frankly – and surprisingly for an author of a book – I find myself vocabulary deficient as no adjectives in the English language seem to me to be adequate enough to express my appreciation for the efficiency, professionalism and personal touch in the process of fulfilling that dream.
May be the following couplet from one of my Ghazals does partial justice to what I feel about ZORBA BOOKS.
‘Poochhiye, dhoop aur safar se thak chuke musafir se
Ped ko maalum nahin hota ki usne kya diya’
‘ASK THE JOURNEY-FATIGUED TRAVELER WHAT HE GOT,
NOT THE TREE, FOR THE GIVER KNOWS NOT.’
