The India I still believe in

Little Raja was a premature delivery. He was grown by his mother with a lot of difficulty. His mother dies when he is 3 years old. They used to live in the outskirts of Goa. His father had a business of selling fish. But unexpectedly went missing soon after his birth.

He had rarely had much communication with Raja. His mother passes away when she is off to work and due to a lot of stress. Soon a troubled yet fearless Raja thinks of going from Goa to Bombay. He collects his parents money and goes off to Bombay.

When he reaches Bombay he meets with a car accident. In a few minutes, the car owners come and take him in their car . The car is owned by the union secretary of bombay government. Raja recovers by good medical help which is available in India . The union secretary asks him why he came to Bombay when Raja says he had come in vain to meet his father who had left him soon after his birth.

Raja is carrying his mother’s photograph and very soon he shows the snap of his father too. The union secretary prints the photo in xxxl size and goes through it studying all the details.

The police people soon recognise his father and say that he is a wanted criminal Raghu. But Raja tells them to find him so that he can talk to him. The police say that if they knew his whereabouts they could help him.

In I ndia,police and army rules are very strict. The police locate him and are tracing him when Raghu gets shot in his arm and leg. Raghu is given medical attention and soon arrested for 2 years. As Raghu comes back from imprisonment his 10 year old son Raja welcomes him and they stay together under one roof.

This story is a fiction and not real but teaches us to have faith in Indian government and judiciary.
