What is Life?

What is life to one differs from another

To you, life is the enjoyment of the senses

To your friend, it is for making money and fame

A young boy aims to get a beautiful dame.

A farmer works hard to produce paddy and wheat

Wakes up early morning and rushes to the field

Ploughs the field the whole day in rain and summer

Visit the field daily, weed the plants, and finally reap his crop.

A student goes to school every day in the morning

Prepares his lessons and does his all homework

Listens to the teachers throughout the day

Finally writes his papers and sees the ray.

A labor works in a factory big or small

He manufactures the items with his toil

He works all day and gets little rest

He puts his all energy and gives his best.

An officer or a teacher attends his workplace

Performs his duty as given by his seniors

He gossips and interacts with colleagues fairy

At the end of the month gets a handsome salary.

Politicians work day and night for the people in society

Stand by them in their time of crisis and necessity

They work very hard and manage all the affair

With all unknown to them or known and nearer.

Thus your life and my life are not always the same

We all play our roles, and that is the game.

Some toil till night, while others work in shift

A few works little, while others merely fight.

Millions of people earn only a meager amount of money

While a fistful of fortunate accumulate billions by bribery.

 

The poor are diligent and happy without riches

Can take sleep at night without fear of the police.

The so-called rich and powerful with crores of money

Earning wealth with dishonesty lives with fear, often runny.

 

Indiscipline and a dishonest life are full of misery and sorrow

These are two illnesses that bring forth tension and make one narrow.

These need complete avoidance and rejection for a child

In order to stand in life and be a person mild.

Life is short, and it is full of joy and pleasure

One must be sincere, good, and conscientious

With a hard-working mentality with sincerity

One is sure to turn life joyful and serendipity.
