The Mask We Wear
>I bet you’ve heard
A fox in a herd
Wearing the sheep mask
>But have you ever seen
A lion in the green
Meowing beneath a hidden façade
>It roars in the cave
Like it is big and brave
But a deer never heard its steps
> It roars like king
Majestic, mighty thing
But the folks never sung its lore
> The little meow
Hidden from the crowd
Dreams big of screaming a roar
But at the end it sleeps
With its big fat dreams
Until hunger hits with power
>Then it comes out
With the hated, foul
Smell of its own façade
>Takes a run
For a little cowardly bun
Which makes its way out
> The deer sleeps
Has a big fat dream
Of a king who finds him out
He opens his eyes
And silently sighs
Laughing at the façade’s scheme
