Rain with me

Sometimes dark clouds

fall from above so gently,

as if raindrops,

before touching the earth,

pause to gather themselves.

Just like that,

we too often cover our sorrows,

so that our anger, our frustration,

our pain and sadness

remain hidden from the world.

Often, we get so entangled

in the chaos of our work,

that we almost forget—

who we truly are,

and how much rain

still lingers within us.
