Choices: We choose what we must become

In 2026, I observed the shift from living life to making life. We chase productivity and forget the freedom life gives us. The freedom to choose, feel and simply be. The joy, exhilaration and the beauty of being human gets buried under noise.

On a bright sunny day, it hit me that we have stopped caring about humanity. People dragged through heatwaves, dehydrated and tanned, the victims of the crisis were created. I saw animals (who cannot speak our language) eyes desperate, silently crying for help.

That’s when I understood change begins with personal responsibility. Not society, not ‘them’. We choose how to shape our lives. Our actions write our destiny.

To be human is a privilege, why waste it on anything that doesn’t serve humanity?
