OLD AGE

Old age is bold age,

It resembles gold.

The sovereignty of gold

never diminishes.

Similarly, the bold minds of old age

never diminish.

Gold ornaments attract all

with their sovereignty.

Likewise, old age attracts all

with its worthy love.

Gold is flexible and valuable

in its own way.

The minds of older people

are also flexible and responsive

to those who seek their love.

Gold seems to be precious

in its value.

But old age is more precious,

beyond all assessments

of monetary value.

Outward glitter is the beauty

of gold.

But inward kindness,

love and affection

are the sparks of old age.

Gold survives as a valuable asset

for the benefit of others.

Similarly, older people have lived

and endured hardships

for the welfare of their dependants.

Yes…!

Old age is not only bold age,

but also a golden age”
