HURT ME
Hurt me till I no longer feel the pain,
Hurt me till I lose everything and have nothing to gain,
Hurt me till my eyes swell after the salty rain,
Hurt me till I am no longer sane,
Hurt me till I feel this whole life to be vain,
Hurt me recklessly, selfishly and in the most inhumane way,
Hurt me, till the hurt consumes all my life’s sun-rays,
Hurt me till my heart turns to stone,
Hurt me till I am numb bone to bone,
Hurt me because you made me feel hurt prone,
Hurt me till there is no answer on my phone,
Hurt me till and until I am far away gone,
Hurt me till I tear apart,
Hurt me, use me to strike your goal I’ll be your dart,
Hurt my till with no tears in my eyes I part,
Hurt me for hurt is all you can give,
Hurt me for it amuses you thinking you made it difficult for me to live,
Is giving hurt all that you are capable of?
Even if I know the answer it’s still beyond me to cutoff,
Yes, you did turn my heart into a stone but sedimentary,
Yes, I fell prey to the faded glimmer in your eye, each and every time voluntarily,
But still a question moves my numb bones every-time- why did it really have to be compulsory?
