A Suggestion and Confession
There is someone I have admired for years, and only recently have I realized the depth of my feelings for him. He is not just a person I like; he is someone I truly wish could be mine—not in a selfish way, not in a way that would hurt him or our families, but in the purest sense of love and respect. I don’t know if he feels the same about me, and I am uncertain whether our families would ever accept such a bond. Yet, what I do know is that he is the kind of person every girl dreams of.
For me, appearances have never been the most important thing. What matters is his heart, his kindness, and the effort he puts into everything he does. His character is far beyond my imagination, and sometimes I feel it may already be too late to express what I feel. But even if it is late, the truth remains: his presence has taught me what genuine admiration and respect look like.
This realization has inspired me to share a message with everyone: if you like someone, if you truly care for them, don’t keep it locked inside forever. Tell them at least once. If they don’t feel the same way, it will hurt—yes, it will hurt deeply—but it is still better than living with the silence of unspoken words. It is better than holding on to someone while knowing you can never truly love them in the way they deserve.
Love is not about possession; it is about honesty, respect, and courage. Sometimes, expressing your feelings is not about winning someone’s heart but about freeing your own. It is about giving yourself the chance to be truthful, even if the outcome is not what you hoped for.
And above all, I want to remind everyone: please, never play with anyone’s feelings. Emotions are fragile, and hearts are not toys. If you cannot love someone, don’t pretend. If you cannot commit, don’t mislead. Be honest, because honesty, even when painful, is far kinder than false promises.
Life is too short to hide what we feel. Speak your truth, respect others, and remember that love, in its purest form, is never about hurting—it is about healing, growing, and cherishing the beauty of another soul.
