Incredible India (The India I still believe in)

Incredible India

In 1947, the country bled in two,

An incredible land, a new border drawn.

Split into many princely states anew,

A regret still shared by me and you.

The Iron Man envisioned a union so true,

And the tricolour proudly flew.

Many ideal children grew,

Keeping Mother’s enemies few.

Saffron, white, green, and the wheel of blue,

Still speaking proudly what is true.

The nation is the best, what makes it greatest?

The people are the real assets.

Consistently fighting the bigots,

And stopping every evil plot.

We were captivated by many others,

For centuries we were smothered.

Yet we never broke after all we suffered,

Instead, we rose and recovered.

We stood with a newly discovered India,

This incredible nation none can enslaved, ever.

Because there’s no shortage of heroes here,

They know how to fight together.

They are bold and they are clever,

Never afraid, whoever comes, whatever.

Mother has produced millions of saviours.

Timur committed genocide and built towers of helpless skulls.

Hindustan was stained by showers of blood.

These horrors lasted for years,

Yet still bloomed the lotus flower.

The saviours gave their lives, refusing to cower.

Their story couldn’t be told in just a few hours.

They fought against the evil power,

With unbreakable willpower,

And we shout “Jai Hind!” louder.

The great India make us proud,

In this new India traitors are not allowed,

The 80th anniversary is going to be a

bout destroying the enemies, no doubt.
