The New Beginning

In the sunny, lush green prairie, lies a little secret little known to many. the annual horse migration had just started after the blossoming arrival of spring. The wild horses and ponies gallop and canter across the prairie together in groups. There they go, galloping and cantering gracefully. Their steady thuds against the grass cushion sounded musical to Skye’s ears. It was truly a magnificient and an immensely beautiful spectacle to be held with. Skye had just seen the spectacle. It was a feast to her longing aqua blue eyes. She was standing beside the path where the majestic beasts galloped past. She was awestruck by the spectacle that flashed in front of her eyes. Skye wasn’t just a mere 14 year old teen, she had high free spirit and her love for adventures with horses was totally unstoppable. For a few moments, she saw the spectacle lingering in front of her eyes and she stood there, completely awestruck. The Sun had begun to set and a gentle breeze settled in. She wasn’t bothered by the winds either. But, she was snapped back to reality by a gentle tap on her shoulder. She was dumbfounded to discover that her brother, Chris, had snapped her back to reality. The horses had also fast disappeared from sight. Chris was a loving brother and was there to remind her about the duties her Mom had assigned. Mom was loving but also fiercely protective from preventing the people who try to make Skye’s life miserable in the worst possible way. She admired wild horses which symbolise courage, freedom, resilience, perserverance, energy, carefree spirit and bravery. Little did she know that she was going to save a distressed wild mare which just experienced the deadly and furious clutches of Mother Nature. She was going to make bond filled with love, trust, compassion and empathy. She was going to undertake a risky mission in order to restore peace and trust of the mare. The adventure still goes on…..
