Chapter 2

THE SCHOOL DAY

This morning, Barry was still sleeping and his mom was shouting to wake him up Barry, but Barry didn’t and his mom pour a glass of water on his face. Then he woke up and said, Mom why did you do this to me, Barry said in a mood. Because you’re not waking up, don’t forget today you have to go to school. now get ready hurry.

 Then he had his breakfast and started school in the cycle. In school most of the students didn’t do their homework he also, copied some of his homework from his friend’s notebook. After doing a little bit of homework, the assembly was going to start, then Barry and his classmates went for assembly. After the prayer, his principal announced that “Today it is 1/5/2015 on 10/5/2015 we had arranged a trip on that day, the trip is to Mount Infento for tracking till 20/5/2015 so you have a total of 10 days of tracking on Mount Infento. Those who are interested to come can, the fee is 950 South African Rand (SAR) on 10/5/2015 those who are not coming have to come regularly to school, understand? Teachers & the whole school are invited. That’s all thank you, and teachers kindly collect the money before 6/5/2015”.

After school, Barry went home and said to his mom,

” In the school principal had arranged a trip to Mount Infento from 10/5/2015 to 20/5/2015 total of 10 days of tracking”. So, Mom can you send me the trip, they said before 6 this month we have to pay the fee.

What’s the fee, Barry, Lara said.

Mom, it’s 950(SAR).

Well, it isn’t so costly Lara said.

Barry requested, Mom please again I will not get the chance.

Well ok, what other things do you want?

Barry said some tracking tools, snacks for 10 days, and a nice jacket, that’s all Mom.

Then Barry called his friend and asked him that is he coming. He replied ‘No’.

Ok, I am going on the trip. ‘suck’, you are so lucky and if you’re taking a camera, show the images after the trip.

Well ok bye, ended Barry.

At 6 pm. Barry asked his dad and explained all about the trip, and he said: “Well you are lucky, you can go”. Then Barry was ‘on cloud nine and he thanked his mom and dad. Then he slept till morning.
