Nargis thinks of Ali and his parents. Ali’s father Atul is now still in Shimla and his mother had a natural death 3 years back. Atul had done his duty and tried to convince Ram for surrendering to the police. He never admitted his fault and had died as a result of it. It was a premature death.

But Ali had given protection to Nargis and made her a part of her family. He had done all of this because he knew that his son was deeply in love with Nargis. Furthermore, they had now a family of their own and were all very fond of each other. He was proud of Ali for making his feelings clear to him and the outer world.
