कविता संग्रह के बारे में
कविता संग्रह “चौपाल” वर्तमान समाज में मौजूद हर उस व्यक्ति व समकालीन परिवेश का वास्तविक रेखाचित्र है जिसके अंश किसी न किसी रूप में व्याप्त हैं। इस कविता संग्रह में दार्शनिक व भावनात्मक शैली में आम व्यक्ति के जीवन के प्रति दृष्टिकोण, उसका जीवन से संघर्ष करने का जज्बा, तंगहाल जीवन में खुशी के अनमोल पल ढूँढने का प्रयास व संतोष की रेखा खींचने की आतुरता आदि की झलक स्पष्ट रूप से दिखाई देती है। कविता “चौपाल” व “चबूतरा “ में जहाँ हम एक आम गरीब आदमी को अपनी थकान मिटाते हुए व तनाव रहित पलों को ढूंढते हुए देख सकते हैं, वहीं कविता “गुब्बारे वाला “ में हम बच्चों को एक अलग स्वप्नलोक में विचरित करते हुए उल्लास व भावी जीवन की संभावनाएं तलाशते हुए देख सकते हैं। कविता “शवयात्रा “ व “चिता” वर्तमान समाज में व्यक्ति के भौतिकवादी व आडंबरयुक्त दृष्टिकोण को प्रतिबिंबित करते हुए उस पर एक करारा प्रहार है ।
नि:संदेह कविता संग्रह “चौपाल “आम आदमी की व्यथा , उसकी मनोदशा व परिवेश को सफलतापूर्वक परिभाषित करने में सक्षम प्रतीत होती है ।
लेखक के बारे में
श्री जयपाल सिंह का जन्म उत्तराखण्ड के अल्मोड़ा जिले के स्याल्दे ब्लाक में 8 जनवरी, 1969 को एक संभ्रांत परिवार में हुआ था। उनकी स्कूल व कालेज स्तर की शिक्षा मेरठ से पूर्ण हुई। उन्होंने चौधरी चरण सिंह विश्वविद्यालय, मेरठ से अर्थशास्त्र व अंग्रेज़ी साहित्य में एम.ए.व बी.एड. किया। प्रारंभ से ही उन्हें हिंदी व अंग्रेजी साहित्य में बहुत रूचि थी। अंग्रेजी के लेखकों में शेक्सपीयर व हिंदी में प्रेमचंद व जयशंकर प्रसाद की लेखन शैली से वह बहुत प्रभावित रहे। वर्तमान में वह छाया पब्लिक स्कूल, मोदीनगर गाजियाबाद में अंग्रेजी के प्राध्यापक के रूप में कार्यरत हैं। समाज से जुड़े हर चरित्र व मुद्दे का प्रतिबिंब उनकी लेखन शैली में सहज रूप से देखा जा सकता है। कविता संग्रह ‘चौपाल’ के माध्यम से उन्होंने समाज के प्रत्येक वर्ग की मनोदशा व समकालीन परिवेश को रेखांकित करने का प्रयास किया है। कविता संग्रह ’चौपाल’ उनकी प्रथम साहित्यिक रचना है।
