शेखर चंद्र उपाध्याय उत्तराखंड में कुमाऊं पर्वतमाला की तलहटी में खूबसूरत शहर नैनीताल में पले-बढ़े।  वह एक सेवानिवृत्त सरकारी स्कूल के प्रिंसिपल हैं और उन्होंने अपने छात्रों के जीवन को आकार देने में 37 साल की सेवा की है। उन्होंने वंचित बच्चों को उनकी शिक्षा के साथ भी समर्थन दिया है क्योंकि उनका मानना है कि अच्छी शिक्षा प्राप्त करना सभी का अधिकार है उससे संपर्क करने के लिए एक ईमेल भेजें। dikshyayu@yahoo.com और 750042036
