Description
“The Seascape’ is no ordinary book of poems. It is not an assortment of poems on various themes but the poetic exploration of a single theme: the Sea (with a capital S.)” “Even while alluding to metaphysical ideas, Mithra, tries to use contemporary diction. She talks about debit and credit, flowcharts and keyboard. The words are current but what is conveyed is timeless.” “Behind the movements of the Sea, the poet is able to discover ‘the cause without a pause.’” “These poems are unusually dense, uncommonly deep and undoubtedly rewarding.”
