About the Author
The author hails from Ettaiyapuram, a village in the Tirunelveli the district, Tamil Nadu which is also the birthplace of the Revolutionary Maha Kavi Subramani Bharathiar who penned many inspirational poems, chief among them being ‘manathil uruthi vaendum vaakkinilae inimai vaendum’ (I wish a firm heart, I wish my speech to be sweet).
A bachelor’s in economics from the prestigious Stella Mary’s college, Chennai she also went on to complete her bachelor’s in training from Teachers training college, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli. She went on to serve in many educational institutions commencing her career from the same school where she studied in Ettaiyapuram
to being the teacher in charge of St Cecilia’s Senior Secondary School, Vikas Puri New Delhi.
